Approximately 2 to 3 weeks after your session, we'll meet again for your newborn gallery reveal. You'll choose your favorite images and I'll assist you with your custom artwork design.

Your custom heirlooms are ready! About 2 to 4 weeks after the reveal appointment, your artwork will be delivered to you to be cherished for years to come.

FAQs Of An Austin Newborn Photographer
When should I book my newborn session?
I recommend reaching out in your second trimester to ensure availability. We'll use your due date as a placeholder. Simply let me know when your little one arrives and we'll lock in a date. I only take a limited number of sessions per month to allow for plenty of flexibility.
How old should my baby be?
Ideally, your baby should be 7 to 14 days old at the time of the session. However, I will schedule newborn sessions through up to 4 weeks old. Babies grow so incredibly fast, and that first month of life will be best to capture all their tiny features.
is newborn photography safe?
Your baby's comfort and safety is always my number one priority. I only perform baby-led, safe poses. For this reason, I may advise against certain poses that could compromise your baby's safety.
what should we wear for our photos?
We'll use our design consultation to discuss your vision and my outfit recommendations. Additionally, I provide all my clients with a complimentary style guide with plenty of tips and outfit inspiration for you, baby, and every member of the family.
Do you use photography props?
As a lifestyle photographer, I utilize the natural elements already present in your home to create authentic images. Props are very minimal and limited to a simple Moses basket, swaddles, and bows - upon request.
How long does a newborn session take?
Although I do not time my sessions - to allow for enough flexibility - you can typically expect out time together to last anywhere from 1.5 hours to 2 hours.
Are parents and siblings included in the photos?
Absolutely! In fact, I also love to incorporate other close family members, such as grandparents.
how much do newborn pictures cost?
Reserving your session starts with a $250 creative fee, which covers my time and talent and ensures that your date is reserved exclusively for you. Your artwork and digital collection will be selected and purchased separately during your reveal and ordering appointment. Collections start at $800.
Can I purchase prints?
Yes! I offer print collections that are completely customizable to your needs. Because I would hate for my clients' images to be lost on the cloud, you can choose from multiple custom artwork options including albums, wall art, and matted prints.
