Some milestones deserve to be honored with beauty and intention. This sweet couple chose to celebrate their 20th wedding anniversary in the most meaningful way, surrounded by their three beautiful daughters for their Austin family photos.
When Becky reached out to me, I felt her excitement through every word. She wanted to mark two decades of marriage with something special. She envisioned photos that felt like a mini celebration, complete with flowers and gorgeous matching dresses. Most importantly, her daughters would be part of this milestone, weaving their family story together.
A Vision for a Special Anniversary Photoshoot
The morning of their session, we were blessed with perfect light peeking through the trees at Katherine Fleischer Park. Becky arrived wearing a stunning pink tulle dress while her three daughters wore matching ivory dresses that complemented her beautifully. Of course, Becky being a photographer herself, she knew exactly how to coordinate elegant and elevated outfits for the whole family.
However, what made my heart skip was the bouquets she created herself. Fresh flowers arranged with Becky’s own hands added such a personal touch and perfectly reflected her artistic skills.
Capturing Connection Through 20 Years Of Love
We moved through the session ensuring that we brought Becky’s vision to life for their Austin family photos – a mini wedding celebration. First, we captured the whole family together, similar to a wedding party, with their teenage daughters as their gorgeous bridesmaids. Then, we focused on Becky and her daughters, before capturing dad and his girls, and the sisters together.
Afterwards came the moments that took us back to their wedding day—just the two of them. These parents stepped away from their roles for a moment. They became again the young couple who said “I do” two decades ago.
More Than Anniversary Family Photos
This session had tremendous sentimental value from beginning to end. Of course, these photos mark twenty years of marriage. Yet, they also capture where this family stands right now in this season of life—with young daughters who won’t be little forever. They honor a love that created a legacy.
Twenty years of marriage. Three beautiful daughters. Handmade bouquets. Everything in place to create photographs that will remind them of this perfect moment for decades to come.
So, this is what celebration looks like. And this is what lasting love creates.
