Shelby And John’s Classic Maternity Session at a Wedding Venue

Originally from Georgia, Shelby and her husband John began planning their maternity photos with a special location in mind. Shelby wanted a place that felt distinctly like Austin—a sweet reminder of where their family’s journey began.

That’s when the Woodbine Mansion in Round Rock, TX came to mind. With its Southern charm and stunning architecture, Woodbine had always been Shelby’s dream wedding venue. Unfortunately, scheduling had made that impossible at the time.

So when I suggested it for her maternity session, her eyes lit up with excitement. We were both thrilled when we secured a weekday session—an amazing win during the busy wedding season!

Shelby and John now plan to frame and display their favorite portraits in their home. It’s the perfect way to keep these memories close, and it fills my photographer heart with joy.
